For Driving Instructor _____________________________________________ 1. Responsibilities Driving instructor shall arrive punctually or inform the student at least 24 hours in advance if they have to postpone or cancel the lesson. Driving instructor shall inform the student at least 60 minutes (1 hour) in advance if they expect to be late.
2.Qualification Driving instructor are required to bring along with them the originals of their certificates on the first lesson and present them to the student for verifications upon request. 3. Termination Driving Instructor who do not comply to their responsibilities shall be given One verbal warning and which shall be recorded in our database. 4. Commissions
Commission paid to tuitiondb shall be deemed to be S$50.00 as recommendation fee per student. Arrangements will be made to collect the commissions due to tuitiondb once the student is handed over to the driving instructor. 5. Fraudulent Cases tuitiondb.com Network takes a very serious note to such cases and shall not hesitate to refer such cases to the Police should the occasion arises. Fraud cases shall be deemed to include the following: a. Driving instructor tries to renegotiate the tuition fees. b. Refusal to pay the commissions. c. Fraudulent declaration of Qualifications or personal data. _____________________________________________ For Tutors _____________________________________________ 1. Responsibilities Tutors/ (Students) shall take a professional approach towards all tuition assignments. They shall arrive punctually or inform the students/ parents/ guardians/ (Tutors) at least 24 hours in advance if they have to postpone or cancel the lesson. Tutors/ (Students) shall inform the students/ parents/ guardians/ (Tutors) at least 60 minutes (1 hour) in advance if they expect to be late. 2. Qualification Tutors are required to bring along with them the originals of their certificates on the first lesson and present them to the students/ parents/ guardians for verifications upon request. On the first lesson, tutor must show the student/parent his or her relevant Educational Certificate/s to verify his or her qualifications for the specific assignment. 3. Termination Tutors who do not comply to their responsibilities shall be given One verbal warning and which shall be recorded in our database. Termination due to non-performance shall result in tuition fees not being paid to the tutor in question. 4. Commissions Commission paid to tuition agencies shall be deemed to be 50% of the first four weeks’ (or equivalent) tuition fees or unless otherwise stated. Arrangements will be made to collect the commissions due to the agency at the end of the 2nd week. Tutors who were found to be under performing or requested to terminate any assignments before the end of 1/2 months or 2 weeks, shall not be entitled to any tuition fees payable. 5. Fraudulent Cases tuitiondb.com Network takes a very serious note to such cases and shall not hesitate to refer such cases to the Police should the occasion arises. Fraud cases shall be deemed to include the following: a. Changing of duration, frequency of the session and/or tuition fees without the knowledge of the Agency. b. Tutor tries to renegotiate the tuition fees, the commission payable to us or tries to by-pass the tuition agency. c. Collaboration between the Tutor and Students to by-pass the tuition agency. d. Refusal to pay the commissions due to the Agency. d. Fraudulent declaration of Qualifications or personal data. 6. Disputes Disputes between students/ parents/ guardians/ and tutors are rare. However, if such cases shall arise, Tutors shall at all times maintain a professional and amicable attitude. tuitiondb.com Network shall be duly informed and we will take it upon ourselves to assist all involved parties to resolve any issues amicably. 7. Current Teachers It is the policy of tuitiondb.com Network that Current teachers are NOT allowed to accept assignments to students from their teaching school. This is introduced to maintain the integrity of Singapore's education sector and which probably would comply with the Ministry of Education (MOE) Singapore's rules. Anyone found in breach of this condition would be immediately reported to the respective school's principal. This rule however, do not apply to tutors and lecturers from tertiary institutions. ______________________________________________
